|此平头案器型独特，四方腿侧面起边线正中起一柱香线，腿足间置两根方材横枨，上端开口，其上饰灵芝状牙头，清秀大方，边缘起阳线，使牙头轮廓更加分明，再以双榫纳入桌面边框。这种平头案腿足内缩安装带侧脚，其设计源自古代中国建筑大木梁架的造型与结构，端庄古朴，设计独特的灵芝牙头描金平添绮丽。通体不假纹饰其素朴着力的体现着明式家具造型的简约、空灵。整器比例完美，做工精湛，线条自然流畅，寓遒劲于柔婉之中。其长度两米，属大型桌案类家具，类似藏品可参见上海博物馆藏有一具卷云纹平头案，另王世襄先生亦有类似器形之旧藏。||参阅：《明式家具珍赏》，文物出版社，2015年，第170页。
