观音为福建德化窑白釉品种中最著名的塑像题材，此尊观音跣足而坐，一手扶于膝上，一手握持书卷，造型优美，姿态自然。面如满月，柳眉细目，双目低垂，嘴角微弯，面容安详，神情中满布温柔和美之气，于端庄中流露慈祥之情。衣饰纹理舒畅自然，纹饰繁复，胸前配璎珞，极富装饰美感。胎体细腻坚实，全身罩施白釉，釉水滋润肥美，色泽光润如凝脂，当为德化白瓷观音造像上乘佳品。
