明代永乐白釉器因“白如凝脂，素犹积雪”而备受珍视，历朝皆有仿烧，耿宝昌《明清瓷器鉴定》中提及嘉靖白釉：“大部分白釉器堪与永乐白釉相媲美……釉面亦肥厚光润，并泛乳白色”，拍品即为嘉靖御窑白釉佳器。 盘形规整，胎质细润。全器罩施白釉，釉质匀净润厚，莹润如玉，宝光内蕴，光素无饰，大方素静，较为难得。
款识：“大明嘉靖年制”六字双行楷书款
