The movement inscribed du Roi à Paris and having an enameled dial set horizontally within an egg-shaped urn surmounted by a spouting display of enamelled flowers and having foliate crested handles either side. The egg elevated on the head of a figure standing on a domed polychrome-enamelled base intricately painted with classical figures in landscape, 4¼" (11 cm) high.
