A large vintage steamer travel trunk from George Henry Lee & Co Ltd with various liner stickers including those from Cunard White Star line including stateroom baggage stickers from Media's fortnightly trip from New York to Liverpool 16th October '53, Cunard First Class, and a hotel sticker from The Blackstone, US. The trunk is made from a beige waxed vellum with tan leather security straps, with studded corner protectors and wooden strips to base, measuring approx. l91cm x w52cm x d33cm. The case contains a small metal horseshoe and George VI 6pence probably included for travelling mercies.
