BUREAU, 42cm x 44cm Provenance: The property of a lady and gentleman, removed from a Cheshire country house Leon Bureau studied at the Ecole des Beaux Arts and was a pupil of Alexandre Joseph Falguière, romantic French sculptor. Bureaus works were exhibited at the Salon from 1884.
