吴恬胜：字澧泉。顺德古楼人。吴恬胜是晚清觉悟得早并很有影响的书法家。他的书学在继承帖学的基础上，融入北碑，以古为新，以行草书见长，结字奇险，用笔洒脱俊逸，风格鲜明。传世书迹不多。1875年光绪帝登基，为避帝讳，将“恬”字改“甜”字。
