拍品圆口，弧腹，圈足，施白釉，釉不及底，露铁褐色胎骨。因其盏腹较深，易载茶汤，故名盅杯。平时多见黑釉建盏，所施白釉者寥寥无几，在流行用黑釉建盏“斗茶”的宋代，本品不可不谓之奇葩。其与社会市场背离的情况可以反应出本品乃不谙世俗之物，表达出一种“众人皆醉我独醒”的处世态度。
