Provenance: From private collector, acquired from HONGKONG in 1970s.. Dimensions: Width: 37cm, Height: 77cm A Pair of Gilt Bronze Elephant Ornaments. They are cast in mirror image with heads turned to the left and right respectively. Each has jade tusks and both are adorned with elaborate harnesses inlaid with coral and turquoise beads. Each beast carries a stylized vase embellished. They are supported on carved gilt bronze bases.
