提盒为紫檀材质，此盒以长方框制成底座，两端树立桩，有站牙抵夹，上安提梁，构件相交处嵌铜叶加固，亦为美观。盒三撞，每层口沿起灯草线，盒盖两侧立墙正中打眼，用铜条贯穿。提盒为北京匠师习惯使用的一个名称。泛指分层而有体谅的长方形盒。宋代已流行，至明清两代，其尺寸变小，材质也逐渐选取较为贵重的紫檀、黄花梨等树种。
