题刻：“弋路连科” 款识：“山月” 玉佩整块精雕而成，温润晶莹，光滑白晰，可见沁色，韵味古朴。上下端雕饰祥云纹。玉佩正面雕琢一鹭鸶立于荷塘，优雅如斯。周围莲蓬果实累累，荷花亭亭玉立，暗香浮动，寓意一路连科。因“鹭”与“路”同音，“莲”与“连”同音，旧时科举考试，连续考中谓之“连科”。是对科举时代赶考生的祝颂语，谓此行可以连中三元，应试连捷，仕途顺遂。正面留白处阳刻篆书“山月”款，背面阳刻“弋路连科”方形阳文篆书印。此件玉佩纹饰细腻精美，包浆温润，油脂光泽，将荷莲神韵，灵动鹭鸶刻画得栩栩如生，玉质莹白细腻。
