此帽架由三部分构成，上部帽托为球状，四面镂雕云蝠纹，顶部开盖透雕团寿纹。中部柱身四周等距出戟，下部底座四周等距攀爬四只夔凤，凤体蜿蜒，昂首张口，身形柔美灵动。通身青花饰云蝠、如意云头、缠枝莲纹及夔龙纹，各层纹饰之间都有辅助纹饰相隔，此器成型复杂，由于不能拉坯只能靠拼合方成，故在烧造中极易疵裂变形，因此传世品稀少。清代朝冠制度极为严格，而帽架也就成为主人身份的象征，制作精美的官帽架既是生活用品，又可为陈设装饰，清代帝后的寝宫内，均置有各种质地的冠架。
