康熙一朝，民窑擅长笔筒之制作，式样多端，题材丰富，开启中国文房清玩之绚丽篇章，为后世所不及。笔筒呈圆筒形，直壁，平底，底心内凹圆脐内施白釉，脐周围一圈似玉璧状露胎无釉。体厚重洁白，造型敦厚端庄，釉面光润，白中闪青。外壁以五彩绘花卉纹，洞石嶙峋，菊花摇曳，旁有鸟儿栖于枝头，昆虫飞舞，笔触细致，纹饰清新，构图疏朗。整器纹饰人文气息异常浓厚，置于案头，可引领思绪穿梭于时光地域，别有洞天。
