此天球直口，长束腰，鼓腹，圈足。通体施窑变红釉，釉汁肥厚斑斓，口沿釉质流淌，瓶身色深沉，艳丽浓烈。据清档记载，清雍正六年（1728），内廷派驻内府员外郎、陶务佐理唐英协理景德镇御窑厂窑务，七年（1729）会同幕友吴尧圃「杜门，谢交游，聚精会神，苦心竭力，与工匠同其食息」，终于熟知「物料、火候生克变化之理」，经反复实验和创新，雍正十三年（1735）「新得窑变」。由此，仿古的铜红窑变釉的烧造获得可控的突破，制器精美绝伦。Lot855-896国营文物商店旧藏
