「内坛郊社」四字双行楷书款 蚰耳炉乃仿照宋定窑而制，扁弧形双耳象征行进中的蚰虫，炉身宛若半截葫芦，沈稳大雅中尽显玲珑之美。蚰耳炉款式历经弥新，与鱼耳炉、朝天炉并为宣德皇帝最为满意的三种炉形。此件蚰耳炉造型古朴，从其细微之处可看出其做工的用心。口沿平，竖直而上。颈部微微内收继而圆出，腹部垂鼓。平底，圈足外撇，足底一圈起线。炉底铸双龙抱「内坛郊社」四字楷书款，此种款识存世极为罕见。此炉铸造精美，耳与腹身连接处制作到位，炉皮色泽古朴自然，线条简练，曲线优美，转折有力，器表打磨光滑，包浆醇厚，抚之如肌，细腻柔美，可谓铜质、造型、皮壳、款识无一不佳、无一不精，为文房案头雅玩之佳品。
