A pair of framed Chinese green-ground embroidered silk panels dating from the early 20th century. Each embroidery features figures in garden scenes with flowers and auspicious symbols. Dimensions are: 12 1/4 inches tall X 12 3/8 inches wide, 31.1 cm X 31.4 cm, while the frame measures 13 1/4 inches tall X 13 1/8 inches wide, 33.7 cm X 33.3 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: Both panels are faded and have loose threads. One panel with areas of loss to thread. Provenance: From a private VA collection.
