An Empire sofa circa 1850 made of mahogany and burl veneer. The sofa has been reupholstered in blue velvet. Dimensions are: 80 5/8 inches wide X 37 inches tall X 24 1/2 deep, 204.787 X 93.98 cm X 62.23 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: velvet shows some age and use wear, back cloth torn at one of the lower corners. Provenance: From a private VA collection.
