PROVENANCE: From private collectors in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Measurements: Height: 30.5 cm, Diam: 36cm Chinese Ming Dynasty XuanDe Red and White Porcelain Jar. Potted with a large cylindrical vessel, jar shape, globular belly heavy on shoulder, round mouth rim, short neck, and raised on ring foot base slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against red fine color, depicted of imperial five claws dragon flying careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves. Which attracting unceasingly admiration.The underside unglazed, revealed the pale-creme ground revealed and dark greyish brown spotted firing marks and edge-cut foot rim. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
