Measurements: 10in x6.75in x 6.75in Chinese Qing Dynasty period, Green Dragon over Famille Jaune porcelain meiping jar. The porcelain shaped into a traditional Meiping form, large, thick and tall potted, wide body on shoulder, slender neck easing to form narrow opening, with emerging slight flaring ring mouth rim, raised on round foot base, with slight concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in famille jaune under glazed base color which contrast against the green fine color, depicted of snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-shui waves in a green color dragon squama to chasing flaming pearl amidst flames and vapors. Banded with arrays of tropical leaves patterns on the collar and ruyi shaped large pendants on the foot rim. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
