Measurements: 14.375in x7.125in x 7.125in Chinese Qing Dynasty period, Blue & white pomegranate motif porcelain pear vase on stand. Potted in Chinese traditional YuHuChun shape vessel, the pear shaped bottle vase, slight ovoid body, a bottom-heavy body tapered gracefully to slender waisted neck, with wide flaring mouth rim, supported on short small foot base, slight concave. The exterior decorated with hand-painting in clean white under glazed base color which contrast against the blue fine color, depicted of abundant ripe pomegranate with fresh foliage and flowers blooms. Pomegranate is known as the fruit of happiness for its red color and is a symbol of plentiful offspring for its many seeds.
