The porcelain potted in amphora bottle vase, wide ovoid belly, thick, shoulder tapering to straight neck, with tall cylindrical stick neck, flared opening mouth rim, emerging three archaic dragon flanked on the neck and on the shoulder, raised on short cylindrical, with deep concave foot base. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the DouCai design color. Doucai decoration the design is outlined in underglaze blue and filled in with overglaze colored enamels except blue. Colors which fit together but also contrasting or joined colors. Decoration in a combination of underglaze cobalt blue outlines and enamels added on top of the fired glaze, within the outlines. The main body and the neck delicately fine depicted with vivid tones color of flowers blooms interspersed scrolling interlocking tendril and foliage, enclosed with repeating scrolling ruyi and auspicious pattern on the upper mouth rim and interlocking key fret on the foot rim. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity, the Li-Shui wave pattern which is known to be the abode of dragons. Without overlap the outlines of the design, clear, subtle, distinct, and the shape is uniformly proportioned.
