Measurements: 1.625in x8in x 8in Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng cobalt blue monochrome glazed porcelain plate. Potted in shallow vessel form, thick and large, with broad wide central interior, rounded cavetto gently tapering to open wide, with a straight open lip, raised with round shallow draft, slight concave base. All reserved in an even coat of a deep blue glaze which terminates at the base to reveal the pure white under glaze. The blue glaze creates a mottled effect around the rim which is likened unto the blushing of human skin. The glaze appearance on the blue painting resembled the texture of an orange peel ju-pi (chu-pi) or a chicken skin. Mark on base, a six under glazed blue script characters reign mark, enclosed within double fine blue rings, Made In The Years YongZheng Reign Period of Great Qing Dynasty.
