PROVENANCE: From private collectors in Highland Park, Dallas, Texas. Measurements: Height: 19.5 cm, Diam: 9.5cm Chinese Ming Dynasty XuanDe Blue and White Porcelain Large Vase. The porcelain potted in shape vase, large thick and tall, globular lower body, emerging ribbon flanked on the cylindrical neck, flaring round mouth rim, raised on a short ring foot base with slight concave. Hand painted ornamentations are rendered in clean white base color which contrast against blue fine color, depicted of scrolling interlocking tendril and ruyi, banded with arrays of tropical leaves patterns, enclosed with thrashing lishui wavy waves. There is not any overlap of the outlines, its well carved, clear, subtle, and distinct. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six under glazed red script characters reign mark, enclosed within blue rings lines. Made in The Years XuanDe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
