PROVENANCE: From private collectors in Gables Estates, Miami, Florida. Measurements: Height: 20 cm, Width: 9cm Chinese Ming Dynasty YongLe Gilded bronze Buddha. This statue of GuanYin sits in single lotus position on a double lotus throne, with on leg crossing and one leg bent up to chest level. Its blue hair is gathered into a topknot and the hair textures are carved clear and exquisite. Adorned with a crown of gold studded with jewels, earrings, necklaces and bracelets, he wears garments of silk, a scarf and skirt. Two upright lotus stands on the throne and to the both side of GuanYin. ​Seated upon a moon disc and double lotus throne. The underside with incised Quadra-petal flori-form visvavajra mark and centralized DaiJi. Made in The Years YongLe Reign Period of The Great Ming Dynasty.
