Osbert congratulates and highly praises Edith on the publication of her book, 'The Canticle of the Rose', 'Darling, . . . The Canticle of the Rose, with me out here, and have been through it from beginning to end . . . I think it is so important that you have bought all the flowers of your poetry together in this way . . . And then, suddenly, with Gold Coast Customs, you sail into your own with the full splendour of the technique you have achieved . . . No other living poet is worth a tenth of what you have . . .
