A Regency 'lion's pelt' decanter label, by Paul Storr, c.1811, the frosted, crescent-shaped centre embossed with the title 'CLARET', the chain possibly later, label 8.5cm wide, together with a cut glass decanter with fluted flat dome glass stopper, 25cm high (2) Note: The design of this decanter label was inspired by the ancient Roman 'Warwick Vase, fragments of which were were discovered in 1770 at Hadrian's villa near Tivoli.
