A Regency 'lion's pelt' decanter label, by Paul Storr, c.1811, the frosted, crescent-shaped centre embossed with the title 'CLARET', the chain possibly later, label 8.5cm wide, together with a cut glass decanter with fluted flat dome glass stopper, 25cm high (2) Note: The design of this decanter label was inspired by the ancient Roman 'Warwick Vase, fragments of which were were discovered in 1770 at Hadrian's villa near Tivoli. Restored in the 18th century, the huge marble vase features a carved rendering of the pelt of the Nemean lion.Please refer to department for condition report
