典型的元代玉壶春瓶样式，喇叭囗，细长颈，溜肩鼓腹，圈足略外撇，足底施釉。它不以平涂来表现大面积的兰色，而以密集平行的线条，来形成海水的概念，在兰色的海水中用留白的技巧表现缠枝牡丹。牡丹作为主体纹样，随器展开，在瓶的下腹部，画了三朵大牡丹，一朵侧开。好像画工注入了情感，线条犀利、流畅，一气呵成；使整个画面具有韵律感，富有装饰美，格外清新雅致。中国画的传统技法十八描中，线条粗细无变化的称为铁线描。应用铁线描技法的瓷器是一个特殊的品种。 参考： 1、纳尔逊-艾特金斯美术馆(Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art) 2、日本出光美术馆收藏的元青花铁线描海水白龙纹戟耳瓶
