Provenance: From a Japanese Collector.此件作品為絹本設色，彩繪鮮豔，筆法工細。所繪為佛祖釋迦牟尼，主像結跏趺坐於仰蓮寶座上，此畫中的須彌座運用了明代景泰藍的色調和花紋佈局，細部描繪裝飾性極強。寶座上的佛像神情寂靜而形象雄偉，面部與手部描繪細膩，有一種剛中見柔、柔中有剛，剛柔相濟的感覺；佛一手禪定印、一手說法印，身後背光、頭光俱全；頭頂有裝飾華麗的雙層華蓋。層層濃密反捲的雲朵襯托整個主題畫面，華蓋兩側的雲層中有飛天相伴。
