The Waller brothers, directors, presented the portrait in connection with the 25th anniversary of the company manager, Mr. Berentsen. The girl posed 3 times 7 hours in Sluijters' studio on the Olympiaplein in Amsterdam. The work was painted in the autumn of 1934 and presented in 1935. Origin comes from the private property of the girl portrayed. Cloth size 50.5 x 65.5 cm and encased in the original frame.
