|说明：端石，石色紫，细腻滋润，随形而就。依石之形浅开砚堂，线条圆浑。砚背额处铭阴文篆书，中心刻楷书「出盘涡，阅岁孔多。刚步露骨，柔足任磨，此为内介而外和。 退谷铭」 ，钤圆形「汪」印。此砚全依石璞之形，略加雕饰，不饰繁缛，得古朴自然之趣。
