款识： 1.其芳先生教正，卅五年葆桢。 2.其芳先生，赖琏。 3.其芳先生两教，衷承祜。 钤印：葆桢、赖琏之印、衷承祜印 作者简介：赖琏，福建永定人。1919年毕业于美国伊利诺大学机械工程专业，后入康奈尔大学研究院，获硕士学位。1932年起历任南京政府秘书长、财政局长、连云港市市长，国民政府教育部次长，国民政府中央海外部副部长。1939年至1944年任西北工学院院长。1953年入联合国秘书处，任中文组主任。1978年定居台湾，受聘为"总统府"国策顾问。
