款识：月笙先生六秩荣寿，丁亥七月梅兰芳敬祝。 梅兰芳（1894-1961），本名澜，艺名梅喜群、兰芳、兰舫，字畹华，室名缀玉轩，江苏泰州人。杰出京剧大师，“四大名旦”之首。于1949年前先后赴日本、美国、苏联演出，并荣获美国波莫纳学院和南加州大学的荣誉文学博士学位。1950年任中国京剧院院长、1951年，任中国戏曲研究院院长，1953年，任中国戏剧家协会副主席，1959年，加入中国共产党，著有《梅兰芳文集》。
