A faience amulet formed as the goddess Taweret in hippopotamus guise, standing on a rectangular base, decorated dorsal pillar, suspension loop above. 6.16 grams, 45mm (1 3/4"). Property of a London gallery; previously with a London art dealer; formerly with S.A.; from a British collection formed in the 1960s-1970s. Condition Report Fine condition.
