Executed with cast images of Saint George & the dragon as well as various puttos. Demetrio Kremos, a Macedonian silversmith who remembered Sotirios' skills in silver. Kremos, on his way to Italy, persuaded young Sotirios to work together. In the fall of 1880 they sailed to Brindisi and then went to Naples. There they opened a small shop in Piazza dei Martiri, selling their artifacts in silver and plate. One evening, while the two partners were dining, the store was broken into and many of their products were stolen. This unfortunate event prompted Boulgaris and Kremos to leave Naples for Rome, where they arrived on February 18, 1881.
