吴镜汀（1904—1972）原名熙曾，字镜汀，号镜湖，祖籍浙江绍兴，生于北京，早年学画从清初王石谷入手，并得到近代画家金拱北的指导，吸取了丰富的传统技法，打下了稳固的基础。吴镜汀的作品兼融南北、多法具备，画面有的精谨，有的洒脱，气度雍容，呈现出深厚的绘画修养。作品有《秦岭》、《黄山人字瀑》等。出版有《吴镜汀作品选》。
