林筱之，其父乃书画大师当代草圣林散之先生。世称“当代唐伯虎”。筱之三岁识字，五岁从父学书画，得其教导和熏陶，其后师从当代水墨大家黄宾虹先生，经过60年的学习，画临黄子久、渐江、石涛诸家，书学王羲之、王献之、颜真卿、李北海，与乙瑛、曹全诸碑，均有涉猎，后书风颇似其父，气势平稳，书风秀逸，笔间苦藤，内含灵气。其执笔亦使“钩手”法，悬腕中锋，得其父遗韵，使人观之，确显一家风骨。
