A GEORGE III MAHOGANY HALL CHAIRAFTER A DESIGN BY INCE & MAYHEW, CIRCA 178096cm high, 48cm wide, 47cm deep overall Condition Report There are some marks, scratches, knocks and abrasions consistent with age and use, some to the extremities and edges.There is a chip the the top of one back leg; lacking one cross stretcher; the painted (presumably coat of arms) has been mostly removed from the central oval to the back of the chair; the dished seat is faded in colour in comparison with the back and has traces of glue or paint.This chair is of generously wide proportions in comparison with most hall chairs, and even taking this into account is noticeably heavier than expected due to the weight and quality of the mahogany chair back.Please refer to the additional images for a visual reference of condition.
