凳面51.5×40.5cm；高51.2cm

Description

“杌”作为坐具，专指没有靠背的一类，以别于有靠背的“椅”。在北方语言中，大家习惯称凳子称“杌凳”，使用灵活，方便搬移。在无束腰的杌凳中，圆材直足直枨的是基本形式，四腿八挓，敦厚稳固。此凳以黄花梨制成，木纹自然细密。凳面攒框镶编织细密的软屉，乘坐舒适，边抹富层次。无束腰，素牙板，前后腿足间各安直枨一根，两侧则置双横枨。此对杌凳，整体结构简练，朴质无文，风格淳朴。参阅：王世襄《明式家具研究》图版卷甲3，三联书店（香港）有限公司，1989年，第19页。
