A Chinese inkstone with a rosewood box dating from the late 19th to the early 20th century. The stone features a Chilong in the corners of the well, and it has a Greek key border. Dimensions are: ink stone- 3/4 inch tall X 9 inches wide X 5 7/8 inches deep; 1.9 cm tall X 22.9 cm wide X 14.9 cm wide. Box- 1 3/4 inches tall X 9 7/8 inches wide X 6 5/8 inches wide; 4.4 cm tall X 25.1 cm wide X 16.8 cm deep. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The stone is in good, but used condition with several chips. The box is broken and cracked. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
