A pair of Chinese silver enameled lidded boxes dating from the 19th century. The top of each box features four figures in a framed landscape scene surrounded by floral tracery. The sides of the boxes feature framed scenes of figures in procession. The bottoms of the boxes are incised with 4-character marks. Dimensions are: 1 1/4 inches tall X 4 3/8 inches wide X 3 inches deep, 3.2 cm X 11.1 cm X 7.6 cm. Weight: both together weigh 402 grams. All measurements are approximate.
