A Chinese Shiwan ceramic statue of Zhong Kui by Pan Yushu dating from the Republic period. Zhong Kui sits on a rock and holds a sword in his left hand. His right hand makes a gesture. The bottom has a 4-character mark. Dimensions are: 10 1/2 inches tall X 6 1/2 inches wide, 26.7 cm X 16.5 cm. All measurements are approximate. Condition: The right hand has been repaired and overpainted. Chipping to the robe edges throughout. A reminder that all lots are sold as-is.
