A Rare Yixing Robin’s Egg Enamelled Teapot The spout is shaped into a three-section bamboo meander, the body with a central raised band and the handle is formed by two slender twisted bamboo branches. The cover is also in the shape of an arch bridge with double bamboo branches from which extend raised leaves. The exterior and base are covered with a finely mottled turquoise and blue glaze that partially covers calligraphy inscribed on the base. Period: Qing (1644‑1912). Height: 22 cm.
