A Longquan Celadon ‘Peony’ Bowl With deep rounded sides supported on a low foot, boldly carved with a peony scroll covering the interior encircling a roundel, the exterior with a similar floral scroll, the rim with a further band of scrolling branches, the glaze of a rich sea green tone, the base glazed in the center surrounded by unglazed ring revealing the buff-orange colour body.
