A Large Chinese Bronze Han Mirror Of circular form, the central hemispherical boss with four ruyi heads radiating from it in a square frame, the main field cast with four ’T’, ’L’ and ’V’ motifs arranged between eight small bosses on a ground of thread-relief depicting animals and Spirits of the Four Directions, within concentric bands of seal characters, saw-tooth and double zig-zag patterns. Period: Western Han Dynasty. (206 BC-AD 220). Diameter: 14 cm.
