A Pair of Gilt and Blue Vases and Covers Of baluster form, the tall sides supported on a flat circular base, the shoulder sloping to a cylindrical neck, decorated in underglaze blue and thickly gilt, the body painted with two large panels depicting a watery landscape scene of buildings, pagodas, swirling clouds and a boat on the water, alternating with four smaller panels, also containing landscape scenes, interspersed with floral sprays, the neck with a band of ruyi and butterflies against a diaper ground, the domed cover similarly decorated and with gilt lion finial, the base glazed.
