Two Jade Groups One in the form of a pair of spotted deer, one with antlers, carved with legs folded beneath them, heads raised and turned so they face towards each other, each with a lingzhi sprig held in the mouth, a small monkey carved to the reverse, the pale stone with russet inclusions; the other in the form of a fiery fenghuang perched among peony and leaves, the green stone with orange and red inclusions from which the fenghuang and flower are carved, both jades with finely carved hardwood bases. Period: 20th century. Length: 11.5‑13.5 cm.
