A Chinese Blue and White Vase Of baluster form with flared base and wide shoulder, decorated in shades of underglaze blue, the body painted with two large panels, one depicting a scene of four figures in a terraced garden, one robed official, a lady, an attendant holding a sword and another, all surrounded by rockwork and plantain, the other panel also depicting figures, an attendant holding a fan above an official who is extending a flower towards another figure, a second official standing to one side, together with carved hardwood cover, the base glazed.
