A Chinese Famille Rose Plaque Of rectangular form, finely painted in famille rose enamels, depicting a scene of three figures in a mountainous landscape, an official in fine orange, green and lilac robes bowing with hands stretched toward a barefooted elephant herd wearing short robes, bearing a rake, straw hat slung over his shoulders, hands clasped and reaching towards the official, standing beside a well-drawn white elephant, the third man stands behind the official, bearing a dragon-handled axe aloft, with four lines of calligraphy and a red square seal mark to the upper left corner.
