A Chinese Square Flask Of square section, the tall sides supported on a circular, slightly spreading foot, the shoulder set with a short inverted neck, each side finely painted in coloured enamels with a different watery landscape scene, in each one a figure on a small boat is dwarfed by the surrounding mountains and trees, set with a pair of elephant head and loop handles, the recessed base glazed and with a square seal mark in iron red.
