WW2 GERMANY NAZI ADOLF HITLER BERGHOFF STAINED GLASS. There are two unique stained glass windows from the official residence of Adolf Hitler Berghof, Obersalzberg in the Salzburg Alps. The stained glass windows according to the eyewitness of the French soldier Jérôme, Lemaître were originally located in the residence of Adolf Hitler. Jérôme, Lemaître fought in the Leclerc division, part of the French 2e Division Blindée. On May 4, 1945, along with his division, he captured the Berghof residence, and the above-mentioned stained glass windows were part of his war booty, taken in memory of these events. After 1945, Jérôme, Lemaître returned to Paris and worked in a textile factory. In 1955 he died and the stained glass windows were handed over to his son, André Lemaître. In 1970, the stained glass windows went to a private collector in New York, Bobby Johnson. After his death in 2000, the stained glass windows were sold to a private person. The items have a Certificate of Originality issued by a certified expert and two copies of the stained glass origin certification letter in French and English. The stained glass windows are made of colored cut glass insulated with metal. The first stained glass window shows the Flag of the German Empire Deutsches Kaiserreich, Deutsches Reich. The second stained glass window shows the flag of the 3rd German Reich Deutsches Reich. The stained glass windows were made by the Wilhelm Rott manufactory, probably on the personal order of A. Hitler or Albert Speer, the main architect of the German Reich. The stained glass windows are in good condition for their age, have small cracks and defects in the metal frame, but the general condition is very good.
